Sterling Highway Alaska

Sterling Highway – A Ninilchik woman died last week in a single-vehicle rollover on the Sterling Highway, according to the Alaska State Troopers. Cheryl Komakhuk, 67, was driving a Jeep southbound. She lost control on the icy roadway and rolled the vehicle into the ditch. Although troopers and first responders dispatched immediately, Ms. Komakhuk, the sole occupant of the Jeep, died at the scene.

Sterling Highway Dangers
